Leader:
The most important and famous leader in Sassanid empire was Khosrow I. The Reign of Khosrow I was 501 to 579 CE. He was successful with both the military and the government and later on became the role model of kings. He reformed the Sassanid empire which made the empire continued for another 100 years.
Government:
The Sassanid Empire was ruled by kings, so it was a monarchy. Small areas were controlled by noble families, known as shahrdar. Beneath the king, a powerful bureaucracy carried out many government affairs. The leader of bureaucracy was the prime minister (wuzurg framadar). The rules of the Sassanid Empire was featured by the ambitious urban planning, improvements and developments for agriculture and technology.(Sassanid Empire, n.d)
The year of war in Sassanid increased the taxes that people cannot pay for meanwhile, the landholder (dehqan) decreased the Sassanid power. During the period of fourteen years and twelve successive kings, the Sassanid Empire was very weak that the power of central authority passed into. Although there a strong kind tried to recover the empire but they never achieved it.
